I’m a Detroit social media strategist working in advertising with nearly a decade in the industry, helping brands create online moments that matter.
I launched my career in social with a simple Twitter strategy — attract clients by tweeting them tips on website conversions. That was in 2009. Simple but effective, garnering my first high profile clients; elite NBA and NFL athletes, thus launching my career in social.
Social for business was barely relevant when I joined a group of women in digital to work with luxury digital brands who were finding success through social media. We worked with brands like Lexus, Infiniti, Exclusive Resorts, St. Regis and more.
But it wasn’t until I got my agency start on the Cadillac brand, that I discovered how powerful social media could be in the sales funnel. Through my time with the team, I honed my influencer marketing, experiential, retail and true 360 integration chops.
As digital and social have evolved, so has my career, I’ve continued to help a few of the world’s most loved brands earn their social and content marketing stripes.
Off the clock (if there is such a thing in the world of content), I work with indie eCommerce, beauty, style and home decor brands. I have a vast catalog of rap lyrics spanning the 90’s and 2000’s that I like to flex on special occasions, like Saturdays. I’m a novice whiskey drinker, love to whip out my passport and live for a fried chicken and waffle brunch with my favorite girls.
Most importantly, I’m a mom to a 9-year-old gamer, whose addiction to YouTube and soccer is only trumped by his love for school (I sure hope, haha).
